Privacy Policy

Convertor is a free file conversion toolbox. This page explains what happens to your files and data when you use it, in plain language.

The short version

• There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We don't know who you are.
• Files you upload are processed automatically and deleted from our servers within one hour.
• No file is ever reviewed by a human, used to train an AI model, or sold or shared with anyone.
• We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which tools are popular. That's it.

Files you upload

When you drop a file into a tool, it's uploaded to our server, processed by that tool (for example, compressed, converted or resized), and made available for you to download. The original file and the converted result are automatically deleted from our server within one hour, whether or not you download the result. We don't keep backups of your files beyond that window.

All processing is done by deterministic software libraries running on our own server. No AI model is involved, and no file content is used for any purpose other than producing the result you asked for.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are coming from, and which tools get used. This works through cookies and similar technologies in your browser, and the data Google collects is covered byGoogle's Privacy Policy. This analytics data is aggregated and isn't linked to any file you upload. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking usingGoogle's official browser add-on, or by blocking cookies/trackers in your browser.

Who else sees data

Convertor's frontend is hosted on Netlify and its backend on Render. These providers process traffic and temporary file data on our behalf, purely to run the service. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Children's privacy

Convertor isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
